When we left there we got only 30 or so min out & the engine on the Hilux pooped out. So we made a tow rope out of a skinny nylon rope and with the 2.7 liter turbo diesel we hauled 19 people, our supplies, and the two vehicle across very rough roads & riverbeds for maybe 5 hours, but we made it. I made a lap belt out of rope and rode with marcus on top of the camper of the front vehicle to lighten the pull on the rope. I got lots of pictures and video because figured no one in America would believe how we "managed." Once we made it out of the Bush, Nicole and I were sent back towards the orphanage so we could get some good and relaxed sleep. But ironically Jenni kept us up pretty late and the generator didn't work so we got horrible sleep. We had a nice evening with the kids however.

Watching the rope

We stopped to have the right rear brake cylinder bypassed b/c it was grinding. While we were there, the chickens kept escaping.
